Day 1

Morning – Classroom

You receive two manuals, workbooks, classroom supplies and a full day of learning.

  • Recognizing room shapes and elevations

Afternoon - Hands-on in House #1

  • Redesign of a family or living room.  Evaluation using National Scoring System
  • End of Day Review

Day 2

Morning – Classroom

  • Review of National Scoring System
  • Decorating 101
  • The Power of Placement continued
  • Creating people-friendly spaces
  • The art of accessorizing
  • Secrets of working with color
  • Lunch Break

Afternoon - Hands-on in House #2

  • Redesign of a family or living room. Implement our effective shopping form. Learn how to help a client create a budget. Assess kitchen, master bedroom and bath with National Scoring System. Create a Staging 5/5 of property.
  • End of Day Review

Day 3

All Day – Hands-on in House #3

  • Review of National Scoring System from Day 2
  • Redesign a large family/living room.  You will also make decorating suggestions to share with client such as paint colors and/or window treatments.  Staging 5/5 and staging assessment of bedrooms and baths.
  • Lunch Break
  • Staging assessment of house including Staging 5/5

Afternoon - Classroom

  • Build confidence by redesigning complicated rooms on paper
  • Working with a client and Client Assessment Worksheet

Day 4

All Day - Classroom

This is a long day, but essential to your businesses' success. Wear comfortable clothes as we will be in class all day.
